Let's Paint Happy: Colorful Girls eCourse
In this fun "Colorful Girls" eCourse, you’ll learn how to paint two different Girls! One painting is the Confetti Esther Girl! And the other painting is "God's Girl". We will be using acrylic paint, paper and our sparkly imaginations!
I'm going to share with you step by step how to paint “Colorful Girls including a special section on different hairstyles and skin tones! The reason I’m calling it Colorful Girls is because we will be using lots of color and paper in making the dresses. In fact, we can pretend we're fashion designers and designing our own unique dresses! This is going to be so much fun!
This course is about play and enjoying the process along the way! I have been drawing girls since as long as I can remember. And it's extra special to share what I've learned through the years. Drawing girls and painting girls is one of my favorite things to do. And I think it may become a favorite painting time for you too!
This course is also about painting wonky. “Wonky” to me means the “beautiful imperfect” and being free to make mistakes. Painting can be so much fun when we have that freedom! And I can’t wait to share my “happy land” of creating with you! I think you’ll love the process of making your "Colorful Girls" come alive with paint, paper and joy! I’d love to have you join me as we journey together in this Color land of painting girls!
The painting course has close to FOUR hours of video content. And it’s for anyone who wants to create! Even if you’ve never picked up a paint brush, this course is for you! I’ll show you step by step instructions in a fun way! And if you’ve painted for years, this course is for you too! Because you may learn some more playful and free ways to paint. I’ll have a supply list, and share secret “ingredients” for painting with mixed media ( paper and paint)! I’ll also share inspiration and step by step lessons. There are 17 lessons total. And by the end of the course, you will have made a colorful Confetti Esther and a God's Girl!
I'll also have more devotions with this painting course. I’ll share my heart about what it means to me to be a "Confetti Esther". I'll also share stories around the painting of God's Girl. God has given us the beautiful gift of creating. And to pick happy and bright colors and then place those colors on a canvas with a brush is pure delight! I'm super excited about this course and would love for your to join me!
This is a self-paced course so you can stop and start at any time. And the course is wonderful for any age range!

Or you can also order “Traditional” canvas ( 1/2 inch edge) from Amazon, see below:
I’m listing two paint sets here as options. You don’t need to buy both. The tubes in these sets are fairly small, but they will get you started!
(These paints are great student grade paints. They have lots of fun colors and they are good quality for the price!)

Here’s another option for paints.
Amsterdam Paints (I love these paints too!)
The extra paints below are Amsterdam paints. If you buy the liquitex 48 pack, you can just use those colors, and if you buy the amsterdam pack, it comes with yellowish green.
(The Magic Glue) 8 oz bottle will work unless you want to have more later to make more paintings!
This is an affordable set that you can get on Amazon. I mostly use the 8 and 12 sizes.
Chalk- Any kind of white or colored chalk. We will use it like a pencil and sketch out our paintings of the girls on to the painted black canvas.
A pen or pencil to "write" in the paint. But make sure the pen doesn't bleed the ink onto the canvas. So it needs to be an old pen or you can put some paint on the end of the tip to dry up the ink.
Styrofoam plates or wax paper to use for your paint palette. ( This is for you to place all your paints on). You can use paper plates too but the paint soaks into the paper more.
All types of fun, colorful, patterned paper. Examples: scrapbook paper, napkins, tissue paper, wrapping paper, whatever type of colors and patterns you love. We will use some of the paper when we make our dresses.
Rags or paper towels to wipe off brushes. Old t-shirts or rags work great. If you want to buy some cheap lint-free rags you can get them below.
*Also, the acrylic paint doesn't wash off easily, so you'll want to wear an apron or clothing you don't mind getting paint on.
