Voila! Pippa and Rosie's Little Room of Fun!

Have Rosie and Pippa's room ready! Yea!! I painted little girls to go over both their beds and the room is small but it worked to have 2 beds because Rosie reallllly wants to have Pippa in her room with her!

We went to Build a Bear and did our tradition of picking out a "bear" or rather....

a kitty!  Rosie wanted to have a Hello Kitty for Pippa matching her Hello Kitty... so that is what we did!

I let Rosie "skip" school last week.. well, is it really skipping in 4K? And we had a mommy/ daughter day and so it involved going to the zoo,( and mom, if you are reading this... the llama spit on Rosie...we both laughed and said that Llama has an attitude!)  riding the carousel at the mall and getting a Hello Kitty for Pippa!  ( an entire agenda planned by Rosie!) We had such a sweet day together. Am so thankful we had some time just the two of us, because once Pippa is home, things will be "a changing!" I am praying that Rosie can embrace the "big sister" role, but I'm sure there will be adjusting once we bring Pippa into Rosie's world. Ha ha!  Also, I'm wondering if Sam will step into that big brother role of protection and love.. I have a feeling it will be really sweet to watch!  And Sam's special day is this Thursday!  His agenda:  Go bowling!  I'll check him out of school earlyand we'll all head as a family to the bowling alley! One more BP ( Before Pippa) outing as a family!

ok.. back to the bedrooms... (I'm done rambling for now:) For the girl's paintings, I wrote the same verse on both of them because I want that verse to be in their hearts sooo much as they grow.

I love love Zephaniah 3: 17.

" The Lord you God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing."

My prayer is that all my children will know that deep within their bones and hearts and soul! It really is life changing when you see how much God delights in us..... we are His creation!!  I think if we really lived it out.... and believed... we would have more sunshine in our hearts!  ( I know I have to remember to believe that all the time!)

Also, with the paintings, I placed a crown( garland) of flowers around their heads as symbolism from Isaiah 61.

" To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes."... I think this entire chapter from Isaiah so powerfully relates to adoption and to think that both my girls have gone from the "days of mourning".. sadness... abandonment... to being adopted into our family...... the garland of flowers mean soooo  much!!  To me, it represents new life..... a beautiful life.... redemption!

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
   instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
   instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
   a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

Guess that is it for now! I have lots more to share this week before we take off on the jet plane!

Let's see.. I'll have to show you the Room #2 tomorrow! Mike decided to get the crib out of the attic and it basically turned into a Saturday that was "making another room for Pippa day."  Just need to hang some pics up and then that room will be done.  But we want to be ready for Pippa with different options for sleeping.. since we have no idea what will be best!  Guess we will wait and see!
